Bobber Style Fishing Camp – Mahtomedi Community Education
Tally’s Dockside is excited to offer fishing camps to the children of Mahtomedi for them to experience angling on White Bear Lake.
We will feature two Bobber Style Fishing Camps for children who have completed grades 1 – 5. Learn the basics of bobber style — catch and release fishing — from the knowledgeable staff of Tally’s Dockside. Pick up tips and tricks on how to successfully fish White Bear Lake while having fun on one of Tally’s Dockside pontoons.
Anglers fish for a total of eight hours in various fishing locations on the lake. The boats hold six anglers. Don’t wait; book now! The pontoons have fully upholstered seats, half canopy, and an anchor. Each boat is equipped with a driver/fishing mentor, live bait, and life vests. Anglers have the opportunity to bring their own tackle and fishing poles, but if needed, we can supply necessary gear. Anglers are encouraged to dress for changing Minnesota weather and apply sunscreen beforehand. Excursions run rain or shine, and make-ups for severe weather cancellations are generally held on Fridays.
